After few emails i have exchange with Docup about how sweeps are working in game i need to ask.

I know that I can sweep only enemy base hex (port/AF/dot) or any ground hex without base.
But what if i have enemy units in my base and i want to clear first enemy LCAP above that base before sending bombers.

Probably i cant sweep in that case also. But i need to be sure foe 100%.
That is making offensive LCAP even more powerful.
Anyone have idea how to fight against that tactic without using HR.

For me it is little strange that enemy can have offensive LCAP but i cant have defensive sweeps. But probably that is limited by game engine and how Friend or Foe recognition in game works

If the enemy LRCAP you can simply CAP (or LRCAP yourself) and you will have the advantage. The fightings won't be shown in the replay but the planes will actually fight each other like if you were countersweeping.

What GeyJoy said; plus I'd be trying to suppress the airfield/airfields he is CAPing from, bombing and sweeping.

Des,

Are you trying to bump up your post count? And is "trible" something like "dribble", but doubled?

Worked out why it's happening; we already had broadband and it's been recently upgraded to high speed.

Under the old system; if the message window was a bit slow posting, I would just click the OK button until it disappeared. But the problem now is that every time I kick the OK button it loads one post.

Sorry koniu, but this has probably highjacked your thread a bit.

You know, you can always sweep nearby hex, and fight with only those enemy fighters which will leak over it. Even better, if that would be farther from their bases.

DUDE! Klingons can not even smell those creatures, but obviously something HAVE to eat them. This is clear indicator, that it would be EMU diet.
