The planes in the background are either -2s or -3s. I assume this is an SBD-3, or possibly a -2. Most likely a -3 since there were far more of those built than -2s.

So it is a Dauntless. The photo does not identify whether it is a 2 or 3

The canopy looks like it might be a razorback D. It's probably also a 9th AF bird. That's where you find most of the ground attack weaponry on the P-47s.

p 51a/A36 but never seen that little front side window...tricked me a little his nose was in the way!

That a bomb hoist.
They came both hand cranked and electric powered.
I assume that was a hand cranked version.
Very similar hoist was still in use during Viet Nam.
I know, I used them almost every day.
