I'm just exploring the use of this feature. When fog of war is on, and as I have it set at 1 hex visibility, the air superiority display basically only shows the status up to the front. However, it's kind of cool that when one does recon beyond the front, you then get not only a peek at the enemy forces, but an updated air superiority picture. I find it quite 'realistic.' Fun to play with, anyway.

My version is showing enemy air superiority in green and friendly superiority in red, I would have thought that it should be the other way round, surely green should be the safe friendly controlled areas were para drops and amphibious landings can safely take place, red should be for danger (enemy fighters have control).

Mine shows green for friendly, light green for friendly minor superiority, yellow for evenly contested, orange for enemy minor superiority, red for enemy superiority.

in the scenario info.ini:

ColorAirSuperiorityLevel0 = 0x979797
ColorAirSuperiorityLevel1 = 0xFF0000
ColorAirSuperiorityLevel2 = 0xFF4500
ColorAirSuperiorityLevel3 = 0xFFFF00
ColorAirSuperiorityLevel4 = 0xADFF2F
ColorAirSuperiorityLevel5 = 0x00FF00

Those are now the default color settings. If yours are not like that, then you may be running a previous version of the game. Or did you change the colors?

Here I'm playing Germans, first turn, Grand Campaign.

I ran a fresh install of Tof 1.00 and applied the 1.03bv3 update, but I'll check how it looks in the files, thanks for the correct file information.

Your screen shot was what I was expecting to see from the update

I am running a saved game in Fall Gelb, a new Fall Gelb scenario is in correct colours. The numbers in the saved game scenario files look OK, but something must be altered somewhere. Not a big issue and there is probably a fix somewhere in the files.

Just ran the same saved game and air superiority has now switched to the correct colours, no idea how it happened as I hadn't changed anything, just looked in the files. However it happened it's working OK, which is a result.

Because your saved game had the ini file in it with the old values, I'd guess.

I was actually unable to run saved games, had to start over.

I am able to use my earlier saved games in 1.03bv3 and it now seems that the original saved scenario files had old colour values, but when I played on and saved again, it saved with the new values and corrected the colours so that air superiority is now OK.

It was playing on and saving again which fixed the files and very glad to be able to use the saved game which is at a very interesting stage.

I would like to, but at the moment barely have the time to play the game, see how things go after Christmas.
