Watching this pretty closely I think I have a way to make the AI less vulnerable to allow a player to play to the max probably only going to be fit for an enhanced Ironman scenario

An "enhanced" Ironman scenario? Cool. Am I suppling you with all the details you need to watch? Just say something if you need any
other data or something. Um........I was mistaken about the scenario I'm playing. I thought it was the RA 4.2 quiet china but NNNoooo,
it turns out that this is the stock quiet china scenario. My mistake. So the only thing different was the patch to 7.0 on the game engine.

Corunna Downs - at the inland end of the railway/road (so 2 hexes "South')

Was a 'secret' Bomber base during the war.

The resources (100 in scenario 1) represent the Iron ore from that region presumably, but there was gold mined near there as well.

Found it. Thanks for the tip. There's resources to be had there for sure.

Here's what Tracker is saying the state of the economy is right now. I've pulled the trigger and ended the turn and watched the movie
so it's now time for some fresh combat results:

Melbourne is the only failed industry this time. And for lack of oil. I'll see if I can't get some oil moved to Melbourne sometime soon.

TF 152 is taking the 113th Base Force engineers to Baker Island to start expanding the air base and build a port etc. I'm expecting to
have to put some combat troops there as well before too long. Maybe they should have gone in first to provide security for the
engineers but I'm in a hurry and I think I can find some troops to serve soon enough to prevent the loss of the engineers at Baker Island.

I moved a group of B-17's to Port Moresby and gave them the mission of pounding the airfield at Rabaul. Now that the Japs have it I
need to deny it to the Japs somehow if I can.

My subs are creaping up on the home islands and they are already getting spotted. I have two that are spotted and two that aren't yet.
They got spotted at a remarkable range from the home islands. The Japs must have some kind of magic spotter plane or something.

I drove an AM into Tarawa just to see what was there expecting some Japs and found nothing at all. So I think it's time to retire to
Ocean Island and let the Catalina there watch it instead.

This is the situation around Wake now. I'm going to drive the carrier group to the SW and try to get in and amongst the center of the 3
TF's and maybe hope that there are three strikes flown and all three sink something. I'm trying for the 9-10 pickup in bowling. It's not
impossible but I've never pulled it off.

This was a totally chance encounter. I have no idea how the Japs got on the west side of Samatra but now I know they are there.
