Those are the prices from last year. No info on this years sale yet. I think this is the first year i'm not waiting to buy games during the sale. I have alot of the older titles i want and the newer ones i want probably won't be part of the sale. Maybe i'll be tempted by price into trying something.

While I'm not looking for anything special, I'm waiting for the sale too.

WitE, WitPAE, or a Command Ops game, if there are good enough discounts.

I wasn't planning on getting anything last year but the Panzer Corps sale was so good I took the plunge. I don't plan on buying anything but if something is priced right I may consider it.

I am guessing the sale will generally be the same as past years where the titles included are roughly 30 or so percent off.....probably the only mystery is which titles will be included since typically newer releases are left out.

I'm torn between Distant Worlds Legends, Panzer Command Ostfront, and WW1 Gold.  I only have the budget for one. I am also intrigued by the new WW1 game... Hmm....

Comes up at $19.99 for me. Checked the holiday thread and the product page.
Is it $9.99 at slitherine, haven't checked there yet.

It is $9.99 at slitherine, shouldn't it be the same price here.

To me Unity of Command shows at Matrix at 16.99 €, but is 10.88 € once clicked, at Plimus Store.

In Slitherine site it shows at 9.99 $, and 10.88 € when I click again at Plimus.

In the matrix holiday sale advertisment thread its listed as 19.99

I haven't put it in my cart yet to see, I shouldn't have to put it in my cart to see the real price.

It should be $9.99 everywhere but it seems like the price is taking a while to propagate. We had a last minute adjustment after a discussion with the developer. Maybe just give it a few hours and try later :(

Edit - tested it and its fine on Plimus - £6.99 and 8.99 Eur or $9.99. The Matrix site only updates once a day so it will be tomorrow before it links back up but you will pay the correct lower price.

I wanted Conflict of Heroes, but then saw it wasn't on sale, and the explanation was that new games aren't put on sale. So I thought about that and bought it anyway. It is the only one I want. I had picked up Alea Jacta Est earlier and am still learning it. So I'm happy. COH for short gaming bursts. And AJE going at the same time. Happy Thanksgiving, Matrix.

I have WW1 Gold and the new Commander The Great War. WW1 Gold is still way too buggy for me, and CTGW is far better than I thought it would be. There are a lot of little details in it that help to make it quite nice.

I have Unity of Command already, I just was looking at your product list and a lot of games are very old 5-7 years and still in the 20 buck range. I would buy a bunch of them for a cheaper price since I have most of your games already, oh well

Guns of August is listed at $22.99 in the flyer and $24.99 in the store.

I didn't buy unity of command because it seemed like a one and done, but for $9.99 i think i'll give it a go.

Matrixgames and I guess now Slitherine don't do sales like mainstream distributers/publishers do. They have games nearly 10 years old they still want $60 regular price for like Steel Panthers Generals Edition. They are like the last bastions of holdouts for dropping their games into the bargain bin prices like everybody else does. So, it's highly unlikely you'll see many if any Matrixgames/Slitherine games for $5 or less and even $10 or less. Unity of Command is a rarity for bargain bin pricing.

Snagged all the Scourge of War Series. All d/l in less than 30 min and install went without a hitch. Having a blast with it.

Forge of Freedom is a nice game too. But starts to lose it's flavor against the AI after you realize how powerful a Cavalry Corp of 3 Div armed with Spencer carbines it. I conquered all area west of Detroit with my Cav Corp. But it was still a blast and you have too build a bunch of mints and such to support it properly.

I buy a few games on Steam for real cheap prices. I actually bought Rome Total War for $1.00 If Matrix had a few games in the $5.00 range I would actually try them. It's just a digital download so the overhead is minimal. Most gamers want the new material anyway and the way the economy is going some of the purchases at least from this community might be slim. I bought the WITE right off the bat and next time I will wait since I also bought the boxed version. Not worth it for me. I also bought all the panzer corps and I love that game.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I've now tried three times to purchase games and every time I enter all my information and press purchase...then I get the "please wait" screen that never goes away...any ideas?

Maybe a security setting you have in IE. Try Firefox or look at your settings in IE. Maybe a popup blocker or other add on too.

Does anyone own Commander - Europe At War Gold? Do you like it? What do you like about it? Do you not like it? Why not?
