Turn 79: Western Front, 21 Jun. 1917

Western Front: Allies break thru in 2 spots, reinforcements arrive to help.

East Front: Troops meeting more resistance in cites, the AI is protecting them with a unit apiece it seems.

Italian Front: Tank attack achieves little and allies will make some progress northward.

Middle East: Quite

Turn 80: Western Front, 5 Jul 1917

Western Front: Allies attack and destroy my advanced German fighter, I guess I forgot to move him. Time will tell how the AI will advance here.

East Front: Battles around major towns, 3 are close to falling including Odessa.

Italian Front: Allies keep squeezing men through the gaps and I can do little to stop them. I have more garrison units on the way.

Middle East: Arabs attempt to use their armored car and flank me in the east.

Turn 81: West Front, 19 Jul 1917

West Front: Things got worse, I had to order a general retreat across the front. I triggered the Russian Revolution or maybe it just was time to go so I'm going to start shipping units from the east to the west...far voyage .

East Front: Things go well here, I'm taking over cities and the Revolution has come to Russia!

Italian Front: At this rate both fronts will merge and I'll loose even more German cities.

Middle East: Arabs continue to try and flank my forces and I bloodied their car unit good.

Turn 82: West Front, 2 Aug. 1917

West Front: Stabilized the west somewhat.

East Front: St. Petersburg falls to the communist and become Petrograd. I'm on the door of Moscow and no ones home

Italian front: BLAH! This is going to be where I fall apart if I don't get troops here ASAP

Middle East: More flanking by the Arabs.

I sold off my German artillery lab since it only had rail guns left. I'm going to do so on shipping next turn.

Back in action after a long holiday trip

Turn 83: Western Front, 16 Aug. 1917

Western Front: Attacks made by Allies all along the front, but my troopers hold! I upgraded as much as I could on this front.

Eastern Front: RUSSIA SURRENDERS!!! HAHA! Now I'm moving my troops as fast as I can westward. I'm sending my German forces to the west front, the AH forces to the Italian Front, and the Bulgarians to help my wayward Turks.

Italian Front: The allies surround one of my units and destroy it, but fail to take Munich like I thought they would.

Middle East: The Brits and Arabs send units to the Baghdad area where I'm forced to put some troops there to cover the cities.

Turn 84: Western Front, 30 Aug. 1917

Western Front: The front has now combined into one long front from the Netherlands to Italy. I had to pull back some to shorten the line for my troops.

Middle East: I attack all along the line, mostly targeting the Arab units.

I've started disbanding some Bulgarian units and AH garrisons. Bulgaria was maxed out on PP's supporting its force so I've trimmed them down some.

Turn 85: Middle East, 13 Sep. 1917

Western Front: Few attacks along the line on both sides. Mainly targets of oppurtunity.

Middle East: Quite, my forces are still moving into position for a counter attack. Bulgarian units will arrive in 2-3 turns.

Convoy in bound.

Turn 86: Middle East, 27 Sep. 1917

Western Front: Allies are successful in driving back the center section of my lines. My reinforcements are still months away!

Middle East: The Turkish counter attack and manage to cut off 2 British Infantry formations!

Turn 87: Middle East, 11 Oct. 1917

Western Front: Allies continue to advance against Munich, I have 2 German Garrison units arrive in time to stop the advance.

Middle East: British and Arab forces both lose 1 infantry units and the Brits are threatened to lose another one next turn for sure. Bulgarians will arrive next turn.

Turn 88: Western Front, 25 Oct. 1917

Western Front: Allies have made a lot of head way in taking Munich and Stuttgart. They managed to destroy 2 garrison forces. German reinforcements are still months away so situation looks grim.

Middle East: The British lines are crumbling even before the Bulgarians can come to the Turks aid. I don't really know what the Brits have behind their lines...I'll see here soon.

Turn 89: Western Front, 8 Nov. 1917

Western Front: The allies keep poking units thru holes in my lines forcing me to back peddle some. I'm trying to get guys in the holes to stop this tactic.

Middle East: British units are on a semi retreat it seems. I shall hound his units the best I can.

Turn 90: Middle East, 22 Nov. 1917

Western Front: The front seen little action this turn, but I did lose a German Inf. unit. I purchased a Germany Arty unit after I scraped my Zeppelin unit.

Middle East: The situation has become unattainable for the Brits and Arabs. My drive south with cut off 3 allied units and I should be able to retake all my lost territory if by wars end...or so I believe

Turn 91: Middle East, 6 Dec. 1917

Western Front: Combined allied attacks forces my units back around Frankfurt. Several Allied tank units are operating around there. I did manage to counter attack one and knock it down to 1 pt. Germany is running out of PP's to support its ground effort. As soon as I loose Frankfurt I believe that the situation will start to become impossible to support my armies and it will fall on to AH to cover more and more front.

Middle East: The rascally Brits pull back and slip the trap. I did surround one unit but he probably can break out next turn. I ran into the British positions further south and lost some troops.

Those Bulgarians, once recovered from the train ride, will allow you to push to Cairo and beyond.

Turn 92: Western Front, 20 Dec. 1917

Well I would like to think the Bulgarians will make that big of a difference.

Western Front: The war I think is finished for the Germans. I just can't hold back the tide of allied troops that they throw at me....ahhh hell...take me out back and shoot me for being a defeatist!

Middle East: The Brits have 2 Mk X Arty pieces south and they took out my Turkish garrison unit. I'm pushing south as fast as I can....Jihad!!!!

Turn 93: Western Front, 3 Jan. 1918

Western Front: Appalling...I lost 6 units to the Allies 1. The northern front is collapsing and the south is to follow. Were is my blindfold and last cigarette?

Middle East: Driving south, the British are falling back.

Damn... I'm inclined to agree with you, you couldn't afford to let the Western and Italian fronts join up, and losing those cities might be the straw that breaks the camel's back...

The turnaround in the middle east is comforting. Perhaps if you drive hard enough the Brits (and maybe even the French) will divert resources there rather than push harder in Europe, but it'll take some serious good fortune to turn this around.

However, you only have 25 turns to hold out before armistice.

Well after some serious thought I have decided to surrender to the Allies . In 25 more turns they could be knocking at the gates of Moscow...lol...

I gotta hand it to the AI that it put up one hell of a fight on balanced! The game is great and I will have a lot of fun with this title for some time. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the undo button (lack of one) and automatic movements of the convoys. Way to easy to intercept CP convoys in the Baltic. Great job developers and thanks

There's no shame in surrendering, just like Vichy France, you are preserving German independence and culture in the face of inevitable defeat right?

Well fought, until very close to the end I really thought you'd pull through.
