Some time ago I wanted to re-install PanzerCommand Ostfront once again and it turned out that I somehow lost my self-burned DVD. So I went to the members section and could fortunately retrieve the client there. Ok, the download speed is abysmal (80-130kb/s) but at least I got the game.

Today I purchased COH and am once again faced with the situation of picking up another medium for burning the client, since Plimus temporary links don't last forever. That had been acceptable 4 years ago but for todays standard it's a hassle. At GoG and GG I never need to care about local storage of clients.

Matrix, why not dealing with every title like you did with PC:O and link the installers to registered games section? If you're afraid about additional traffic, you could build-in a delay for showing the links 72h after purchase. So everybody gets his initial download from Plimus.

Being a web developer myself I know that this functionality wouldn't take much effort.

We use the Amazon cloud as thousands of other companies do so I don't know what the issue could be. Where are you located?

Regarding download speed I'm located in Germany and on a 50 mbit connection. But my request was rather about linking clients to the "my games" section.
