The Airforce Heritage Foundation has a nice page on Facebook, with some amazing photos of vintage aircraft. Here is a nice shot of a P-40, P-38, F4U, and a FW-190 thrown in for fun.

Focke Wulf was my favorite Axis plane of the war, especially the D version. Here is another shot from the ground.

I always had a fondness for the P-40. A sort of elegant aggressiveness, never much liked German planes, most appear to be only killer machines.
