This display shows the traffic in and headed to Truk and you can see that about 33K of fuel is on it's way to Truk. It's going to be another
five days or so until it arrives there.

I had disembarked the planes CVL Nisshin had onboard at Wake or someplace since they were decimated and needed replacing, plus
the Nisshin was damaged itself and needed to be driven to Yokohoma to be repaired and there was a squadron of Claudes needing to
be assigned someplace at Yokohoma so I flew them aboard the Nisshin. I'll replace them with something else more suitable later as the
opportunity arises. So this little group of ships is ready to join the northern carrier group when they, the latter, come out of the repair
yard in about a week or so.

TF 215 is taking much needed supplies to Wake and will be arriving soon. What is scorching my shorts is that Allied sub in the port at
Wake in spite of a minefield. The mouseover says 4 ships but I think that's FOW and that there's only that one Allied sub. I could be
wrong.

It's looking like the 14th Division is going to land at Mersing either late tonight or early tomorrow and will be a much needed infusion of
additional troops. My guys at Mersing are in a bad way and the 14th Div. will turn that around and maybe I can get the advance going
again.

So there I am moving TF's and then I happen to mouseover Kwajalein and discover that it's seriously low on supplies. This is what
happens when you don't keep up with the status of your hubs. Again.

The northern carrier group ships went into the repair yard yesterday at Yokohoma and are being repaired even as we speak. This
display shows which ships are being repaired and for how long they need to stay in the yard.

Jim and I have exchanged files for the new turn and here's some fresh combat results: There was a small surface action near
Singapore:

I'm doing a naval bombardment on Pamekasan mostly just to see what kind of results I get. It's not doing much good and I may as well
stop doing it.

Between the carrier strikes and the sub actions you'd think Jim would quit running ships out of Sydney for a while but I'll stay busy picking
them off while they are there to be had.

There's an Allied sub at Wake that's been loitering around and maybe all these hits will make it go away.

Jim has laid a small minefield at Wake and I'm only just now finding it. Well, actually I have no idea how big it is but I'm glad to find out
that an SC can clear mines. Good to know.

My Betty's hit Mersing.......well actually they are hitting the Allied targets near Mersing. And I notice that the bombers are coming in at 5K
again. I'm guessing it costs supply to fix the damage on these planes and if it weren't for that I wouldn't mind so much but I'm going to
have to boost their altitude or I'm going to lose one one of these days.

It looks like Jim was successful in getting his two Manila remnant groups together again and now he's got a gaggle of about 73K troops
that I'll have to start chasing south as he retreats again and again I guess. We'll see.

I'm thinking that by now after all these bombardment attacks the Allied unit at Cagayan might be just about ready for a DA from one of my
miniscule LCU's. Maybe I should run one of them into that hex and try it just to see what happens. Good idea.

I'm shipping some INF LCU's into Gasmata specifically to deal with this Allied unit. I'm wondering if I should just let it "wither on the vine"
though because if I destroy it Jim can buy it back and have another LCU to fight me with. I guess in the real thing the Japs would have
destroyed it so I guess that's what I'll do here.

It seems to me that Jim is bringing more and more B-17's each time he raids. Maybe he's finally getting an influx of supplies and
material from the US.

It seems like I've flown one too many carrier strikes near Sydney. Jim and his fighters have torn the guts out of my bomber unit and I'm
pretty sure it'll go downhill from here. I may have to withdraw and refit after this.

The Allied TF's have disappeared from my radar and I see the Allied subs gathering........I'm thinking it's time to move the carrier group
back north and rearm etc.

And I'm guessing this will be the last carrier strike for a while from my southern carrier group. I'll have to replace that bomber unit that
got decimated.

Here's how it went on the ground at Mauban. I'm still amazed at how outnumbered I am and Jim is still the one getting the losses. His
troops must be really out of supply badly.

I'm not making much headway at Batavia. I may need some more troops or some more air-to-ground beat down or something.

Okay.......the fortifications are now 0 so all the rest of the assaults will come off better. So we should be advancing here shortly. Maybe.

It looks like we're going pretty good w/o the 14th Division already. Wonder how fast the Allies will vaporize when the 14th Div gets here.
