The BB Hyuga can't dock at Buna and I've been using an AO to fuel up the BB on each trip, usually sitting right where the BB is now.
But other priorities have pulled the AO away from there and I have no AO to fuel the BB. I don't know how many trips there are in the
10K fuel the BB has left but I may have to suspend operations if I can't round up another AO pretty soon. Also, the trip south that the
CV group was going to make may have to be sharply curtailed, also because of a lack of fueling. I've got armed CV's that I can't get
into the AO where they are to work so I may as well do something useful w/ them. Trouble is, I don't know what I should do with them
now. I gotta get better organized, I can see that.

I got to looking around for some AO's and found two of them at Kwajalein filled to the brim w/ fuel. I'm sending them in the direction of
Rabaul. They should be there in four or five days.

I finally got another DMS ship out of the repair yards. DMS W-3 is so fresh out of the repair yard the paint hasn't fully dried yet. I'm
going to put her to work clearing the mines out of Palembang's port. And after that Bataan and Manila.

I sent my moves to Jim sometime this afternoon. Let's see how long it takes to get some moves back.

EDIT: Wednesday already and no moves yet. Jim wrote me to say that he's had some real life issues come up suddenly and the turn
returning might slow down temp. I'll just hang in there and I'll ask you guys to hang in there too. We'll have some moves soon. Maybe.

I've just noticed that I have two HQ units parked at Manado. I don't need 2 HQ units at Manado and I don't know how this happened but
I'm wondering if there's any drawback to having two HQ units in one base. I can't think of any. I still need to move both of those HQ units
to a better spot however. That AP that's there doesn't have the capacity to move anything except the engineers and I'm thinking I might
need some AF dudes at that base for some reason in the near term future and so I'm just going to go get Manado some fuel from
Bubble Drop.

This shows the traffic pattern in and around Balikpapan. There's some ships there now that are loading up on fuel and there's an awfully
large number of empty ships headed for Balik. There should be because I've instituted a program to move all that fuel away from Balik.
And when that's accomplished maybe by then the minefield will be gone from Palembang and I can start hauling oil again. On the other
hand the home islands need resources and fuel the most so I'll go back to hauling those. Plus supplies from Tokyo out to the field.

I've got a PB babysitting an Allied base south of Singapore at Singkep and even though the base looks empty there could still be some-
body sitting there and I wouldn't know it without some recon besides the PB. I lucked out when I invaded Toboli and Billinton because
they were empty but that might not always be so. Maybe I should do a ground attack into that ( those ) hex (es ) so as to get a list of
what's there after I've attacked it in the combat results. Or maybe I could go w/o recon if I take a big enough unit to invade so as to be
able to handle some residents of the base.

Anyway, those new places look to be holding quite a bit of resources and I can put those to good use if only they were somewhere else.
So I gotta haul 'em to the home islands.

I've got a question: can an underway DD crew move two rounds from the Rear gun to the Forward gun ( they are the same kind of gun )?
If they did that the defensive value of the ship would be increased. They can do that in real life can't they?
