Not that points matter at all in the way I play, but it is noteworthy that we passed the lizards today.

I don't know what that means, he passed the lizards, I'm still dealing with salamanders. I would note that Raiden is very plant-the-flag happy. If flags were panzer divisions, he's already won.

Luganville fell today. The Oz brig. was vaporized.

Passed the salamanders didn't seem sufficently martial...

I understand now, you are correct. We Gorn have our tails circumcised at birth so that we don't appear to be lizards, but that was supposed to be a secret.

I'm thinking those extra troops he unloaded at Luganville in order to take it were supposed to go somewhere else. You think?

Got caught with my pants down. His 4CV KB came down NZ way and nailed some empty TKs heading for the WC. I knew better.

Per his request, as he is unexperienced in taking screencaps and editing them, I will be posting map views with the current situation from stem to stern. As I will have to do a bit of artwork as you might imagine, it will take me a little while. He sends me back turns so fast I practically don't have a life outside the game. Today for instance, while I am a lizard, I am also a vampire lizard. Nonetheless I do venture outside some days even though the sun is up. Now while I'm out, I discuss my battles with everyone I meet, and still, I am left with little time for anything else. I simply can't be WitPAE all the time and everywhere. Or can I? Can I, wasn't that a battle Hannibal won?

Anyways, his unrelenting attacks are starting to really p*** me off. I'll do something about it one of these months.

2/7/42 Raiden follows up by approaching Aukland. I thought it very gentlemanly of me to offer him some target practice.

Then he attacks Aukland itself and also begins unloading troops at Koumac.

He has fallen into my very clever trap! He will soon run out of ammunition and then I will pounce and destroy him.

China. I think he hasn't occupied Pakhoi so that he can continue collecting that one VP each turn.

There are a couple spots in China I am starting to wonder if some of his stacks aren't eating through an awful lot of supply with the stacking limits.

I just went through them and there was one stack overstacked. That'll be resolved soon.

The only place I am overstacked is Bataan.  Thankfully it's also one of the areas supply is plentyful.

There's some slackers out there. Matrix tells me I'll get a free update if I at least get 10 hits per post. I hope that no one makes unnecessary posts in order to prevent me from getting my free update.

Maybe the problem is that you and your opponent are making too many posts in your back-and-fort repartee!

About the unfortunate convoys, have you considered equipping them with detatchable tails?

Ah, then you are only familiar with part of the concept - the other part is that you only get the tail and the main part of the prey gets away. Most unsporting to grab it all!

Yes, some species of lizards and some amphibian salamanders (amphibian salamanders? I may need those later) can drop their tails, but not this one. My explanation about why Gorns are without tails is honest. No cracks about us being so frightened all the time we can't grow them back! By the way, I'd like you to try that with a Komodo.

Raiden has had flag planting operations at Baker Island and Viatupu in the past two days. I expect he may well put float planes there.

Many an AFB wishes he could leave Dugout Doug behind, but the game sticks him in SWPAC HQ when it arrives. An the PP to replace him are prohibitive.

I made certain of that. I'm hoping to get Mathew Ridgeway transferred to the PTO.

I'm hoping they don't send Montgomery, he'll just get lost in a jungle somewhere, hopefully New Guinea where he'll be rescued by cannibals.

2/15/42 Raiden has captured Koumac from an Aussie brigade and is now working his way toward Noumea. His KB has momentarily left the area, so I'm guessing he won't make a second landing at Noumea.

The ships you see north of Koumak are xAKs returning to base
