Status: offline 		I am considering building a new computer. Has anyone had a change to experiment whether there's any issues in playing JTCS under Windows 8?

I would think not but then again you never know...

Status: offline 		Personally I would stick with Windows 7, you could always upgrade to Win 8 in the future...enjoy your new computer!

I would purchase the Windows 7 Professional Edition, here is a link that you can use to compare:

Status: offline 		I have Windows 8 Developer version build 9200 and it doesn't work. The main game screen is just white even in compatibility mode.
I'm sticking with W7.

Status: offline 		Clearly time is running out for this game. Matrix really needs to look at a Windowed version because you can hold off on Windows upgrades for only so long...

Oh well, it seems the Windows 8 upgrade would need to be made to Modern Wars before it is released, and hopefully there's enough resources at Matrix to implement changes to JTCS 1.5 as well...

Status: offline 		Just got a new installer from Tech support. Game installs and works beautifully in WIN 8. Recommended they replace the older installer. Great game!
