ORIGINAL: geofflambert That looks just like my screen, except I don't have the windows bar on the bottom. The font size on your top bar is way way smaller than on mine, as you can see. Must be a way to adjust that. Thanks for trying to help. You can see the star on the bottom of my screen is located behind the strategic map. I sure don't want to have to re-install this puppy if I did something wrong on the original install. Your screenshot is 1024 pixels wide by 768 pixels tall which is the default game resolution. You have just stretched it to fill your monitor (notice how the hexes are wider than they are tall on the monitor which is not reflected in the screenshot). Your monitor looks like it should be capable of displaying 1920x1080 resolutions. With your monitor, why don't you try the widescreen option, you'll never look back!! The picture below shows the difference between a standard screen and full widescreen. Create a new icon on your desktop and put the following line in the "Target:" box (ensure the .exe file is the same location as on your PC). "C:\Program Files\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -altFont -px1920 -py1080 (There is more information on these command line options in the "What's New" file included with the game). Double click on the new icon to start (or continue) a game in widescreen mode and that's all there is to it!! Best of luck,
