A question from a java amateur. I like watching movies made available from a local TV station (SBS for those who know) recently I am having all sorts of problems, such as unable to watch in Hi Def, no caching of movie, eg movie stopping every few seconds. Is this a Java issue or something else? Thanks in advance
Ron

It's most likely a problem at the SBS end. I've had similar issues. Obviously you need to kill other tabs and stuff that sucks bandwidth but their video player is fairly new and I think they're still sorting it out. Their servers may not be keeping up with demand too. Sometimes pausing manually when the resolution degrades helps.

Cheers, Neilster

G'day Neilster, You are probably right about the issue being SBS. I have played a couple of AFL replays and doesn't appeared to be much of a problem there.
thanks.
