During my invasion of Northern Honshu I got swamped by the japanese kamikaze waves.

I lost Hornet & Independence, 1 hex off Aomori.

The aircraft from Independence diverted to Hakodate but Hornet sent its aircraft to Olga in Soviet Siberia. This was 6 hexes away and I had at 5 bases on Hokkaido within 6 hexes and 3 more at 7 heves. While they were pretty full there would have been space for the 20 odd survivors.

I can fly them back so its no biggee, but is it WAD???

Not expected unless there was no other way to save the planes.
If you have the save when they diverted, I can have a look.

Thanks Michael but it happened late last night and I played on, I later lost another CVL at the same point and its aircraft went to Sapporo.
