How does one undo this?

In the course of doing the revised Blank Case Blue map I have put in some of these on some hexes, and then added additional hexes later ... and you can't remove the flag for this. You end up either a) having to do the same for the next hex in the link to match them up or b) ending up with a rail hex that cannot be deleted.

How does one delete this flag completely from a hex?

Can one?

in the "hex" subwindow there is a button you can use to manually set a roadtype to a selected hex (or none by specifying -1)

Thanks. I'd tried the -1 trick on the first (direction) screen, I just didn't think of it for the *Type* of Road screen. D'uh!
