before I bungle this....

I want to play the BigBabes A. (I have a possible match PBEM)
I want to keep Halseys Art mods.

Should I/ Can I:
Have two WITP-AE games installed on desktop independent of each other?

in which case:
reinstall game
update to latest patch
reinstall Halseys art
install proper Babes scenario

or overwrite current installed game and forget stock version?

DaBabes question:
I want to play with the stacking limits. Do I have to use the extended map?

Yes on having multiple installs. I do recommend that you also have separate shortcuts that point to AE in each install (and to each install of Tracker and Intel Monkey), that will avoid the confusion of starting up the wrong one!

In the screen shot below, the original installation is the first one. The other are just wholesale copies of that folder (then rename the folder). The different PBMs never collide, even if they have different artwork, patches, whatever.

You don't need to do a new install, Windows is happy the game is installed.

You can simply copy, amend and play as many versions as you like - just copy the whole folder to a new location. I have my basic WITP AE install where is goes, then I have a totally separate folder called GAMES, and in that I simply copy the whole AE file structure into new opponents folder. So my file structure looks like attached:

The only limit on how many separate games you have on your Pc is the space you have on your PC. If you had 100 games each could have its own folder with AE in, as WITPQS says best to have separate shortcuts for them though.

I do use the extended map with DaBabes/stacking limits. My recollection is the DaBabes site noted this was required...

Had trouble getting the Generic Mod Enabler to run/activate the maps (don't recall the specifics) but eventually hit the right combination of actions.
