Adding roads in the map editor - 9/18/2012 6:17:53 PM

G'day,

How does one add roads in the map editor? I picked up the game to try to build a few near future scenarios and while I seem to be able to edit equipment files just fine and maps aren't a problem, adding roads is beyond my keen.

I know it's a silly question, yet it has me stumped.

Thanks for the help!

you can add other types of terrain? It is the same principle--click on the type of road you want to add in the right hand terrain panel, make sure you are in the right terrain "mode" (the little symbol above the terrain panel which cycles through adding, deleting, naming, etc. terrain), and then click on one hex, then an adjacent hex, and so on.

Absolutely. I'll take a screenshot, however unless I'm going crazy (which is a possibility, I'll grant), roads aren't an option. Wadis, canals, rives, yes, but no roads.

Edit: thanks for the response!

See screenshot where you can find the two different kind of roads.

I...need to find a raw squid and put on my head.

I didn't see the buttons to scroll down to see more terrain options.

BTW the graphics set you use looks very nice, which one is it?
