Since the 'What got you into wargaming?' thread brought up a lot of memories of SSG gaming, I thought I would check out their latest offerings...except they don't have any.

I wasn't surprised that things took a nosedive after last years tragedy...but am starting to wonder if perhaps they are taking a long break? Or perhaps giving up?

A) There is little to no action on their forums here or at their own website, Run5.

B) Of that action, none is posted from the remaining members of SSG.

C) They haven't announced anything new for two years. I know there was a mention in some Slitherine newspost or something of the sort about CAW II or Complete, but normally Gregor would have been mentioning something had there been anything to mention in regards to new content. Rumours from testers at Run5 (old posts now...) suggest the CAW project and a new Kharkov game.

D) Any questions on SSG do not attract any 'official' commentary, either here or at Run5.

So, my questions are simple;

1) Is SSG still a going concern and producing new games?

2) If yes, what are they producing, and what rough estimate of time could be expected until anything new is released?

I very much hope that I will get a chance to play new SSG content. Take this post as a sign of how much I care

I didn't mention this as I had forgotten about it...

I have the Euro version of 'Korsun Pocket' which I reinstalled a couple of months ago. I haven't tried the patches here at Matrix as I remember a seperate set being available from 'Lets Play' who ran the Euro side of the operations back then. Well, Lets Play don't have them, and neither do anyone else, so a few weeks back I sent an email to SSG's support address asking if they could supply me with those patches or tell me where they might be.

Just realised I have never gotten an answer back, which isn't normal at all for them. Just resent it so we shall see what happens.

Would Erik or any of the officialdom here at Matrix have any answers for the questions?
