This was rather odd, as I was preparing an attack, I noticed that the AI was able to stack 4 units, 2 regiments and 2 divisions, in one hex.

After the attack, three surrendered but you can see a routed unit appears in Gorotnitsa- the 4th unit- one of the infantry regiments.

AFV is that really 1.06.04?

Also interesting in that screenie shows that 2/371st isn't isolated SP 0 but it surrenders anyway.

I noticed it showed as having some supply, i wrote it off to maybe some air supply (but did not check).  I just now checked and there are no airdrops showing for that hex.

Its 1.06.04, why is that odd or why do you ask?

I think the latest release is 1.06.06, its been a while bit I think there was a fix for something like this in there, except it was AI russians that were overstacking.

The latest beta is 1.06.14.

Can't open the zip file after downloading it. Says it's empty when I try to unzip it and it says it's an invalid file when I try to view the file inside the zip.

elmo- FYI I was able to go back to my post, click on the link to the file, download it, extract it, rename it a .save and move it to my save folder and open it.
Can I email it to you (need address)?

Opening the file with Winrar shows it as 98MB file compressed to 4.4 MB, testing it shows no error but test is rather quick for reported filesize. Please upload it again with a standard ZIP compression, not GZIP as shown by Winrar.

I was able to open the file with Winrar but got no further since I don't have gzip. If you can post it using the standard ZIP then I can take a look at it. However if Dennis already looked at it and did not see the problem then it may have been fixed in a more recent version of the EXE.

This file is no zip, it's the save. Just change .zip to .save and it should work.

OK I do see four German units stacked in hex X72,Y80. We might need the save for the German part of the turn if you have it but I'll pass this on.

AFV - Can you post a save from just before this happens? We can see the stack but Gary needs a save from just before it happens to see what the AI is doing.

This is the save on the previous turn just before I ended my turn.
I did it the same way, just renamed it to a .zip
After looking at it closer, it appears a regiment just appeared out of thin air to an already full stack that was completely surrounded by Soviet units.
