It has only been a couple of months since I played, but I have forgotten how to make the unit type highlights work

I hit Control-2 and the airfields will flash but will not stay highlighted. I have forts, rails, unit modes, isolated units, and factories OFF but it doesn't make any difference; it still just flashes instead of staying highlighted. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: Aha! it was not my memory failing, it was something I never knew: I had a HQ alone and next to an enemy unit; that is sufficient to prevent the highlight from staying on.

Do you have a unit selected? IIRC, you should not have anything selected, if you select something the highlight disappear.

Bye
