So far any fan-based Wiki project on any Matrix game has to go its own way of finding a Wiki farm, or getting a Wiki installation hosted somewhere. The former is usually hard because the Wiki farms either are not free, or have severe limitations as to their usability (or are more obscure and do not support all of the "standards" of MediaWiki or the like). The latter is for an advanced user and also a hosting service is needed. Imagine Matrix would have their own internal Wiki site (or domain), from which wikies for their games could be created by an admin, if fans would like to start documenting a game... This would have the benefit of having it all on a stable platform, accessible and "overwatched" to some degree. True, it would mean more work for the admins, because Matrix now has many games under their belt. But the benefits from my POV overshadow the initial work. And after an admin sets the Wiki for a game up, the community is then responsible for creating the content (unles the devs of a particular game also do not want to contribute with "official" texts - which is even better). Has anything like this been ever condisered?
