I want to get the faces off the "unit troop" pictures. I have Ritterkreigs mods installed but the faces are still there.

After days of trying, I couldn't get the JSGME to work so I just manually copied the mod into the game directory.

Question on Ritterkreig.....do the new unit colors only apply to the Ritterkreig scenario or to all existing scenarios?

Have you checked out redmarkus4's picture mods they remove the faces.I seem to remember him posting how to get JSGME working as well.

Go into the graphics folder in the DCCB main folder, then the DC2 folder, then portraits folder. Back them up if your going to use them again. Then open each file in an image editor [paint.net] and use the eraser function to erase the portrait and then save the file. you cant just delete them because the game looks for the files.Screenshot below.

If you can get my mod to install, it removes those faces for you.

Maybe you can post a shot of what your JSGME setup looks like right now - showing the expanded folder structure inside your MODS directory.

or just replace your portraits folder with redmarkus's altered one from his mod.
