my question is why do these guys get there own category, how are they different then a medium level bomber?


I can see the Attack Bomber has a higher gun value then a similar model level bomber is there any other difference in capability?

Status: offline 		Attackbombers also strafe to surpress AA-Guns (attacking in pairs of 2, if i remember right). But i'm not sure how effective it is, as i stopped attacking japanese LCUs with attackbombers (exeption: Clear hexes) due very heavy losses to AA-Fire.

Status: offline 		They are very effective vs merchant and light warships and do suppress flak. Larger warships can take a toll with flak.
