While talking about Caesar, don't forget his time in Alexandria vs. the boy-pharaoh. Impressive as Alesia was, I would think that the Alexandria situation (outnumbered roughly 5:1 for roughly 6 months) was at least as tight of a bind.

That was modern day epic. And there's people in the forum that did it. Not me, I'm 10 years too young, but JWE was in-country 4 days and went to 2/319th to replace a section Lieut that got shredded. Did ok and got his first 'forgot to duck' zipper. He wasn't a professional, but his NCOs liked him.
