Do you have to actully march through each rail line to begin converting it or can you capture entire stretches by just capturing a rail hex down the line?

Do rocket artillery ever get new batteries so they can be used again?

There is a neutral hex takeover, I think, as well as ZOC capture, but I'm not sure how it works exactly.

Rocket artillery is a one-shot weapon in the Vanilla scenarios, but can be modded to act like normal artillery - by setting a 2 hex range and changing the 'dies after use' settings in the editor against the Nebelwerfer and Katyusha SFTs.

So there are no replacements for the rocket units?
Is it better to disband the rocket units after use so the remaining troops can be used elsewhere?

No after one shot you have to wait for replacements to arrive. an odd design choice.

yes they get replacements on every other turn. don't expect to use them every second turn, rather like every five turns or less.

But if you do that in a scenario where there are replacement in Nebelwerfer or Katyusha, don't you think you will finish to have a lot of Nebelwerfer or Katyusha on map?
I suppose the replacement rate for such squad take account of the fact that they disappear after every shooting.
