Things do look bleak for the Allies. How come the Soviets joined the Axis Powers?

Well, it is a long story... but an opportunity arose...

The Germans got their hands on Persia, and the Soviets their hands on Rumania. Between the two of us, we decided (Kraftwerk and me) that we should switch possessions... had the Rumanians not joined the Soviets, and the Persians Germany, I am not sure the two sides would have found each other at all...

Things got alittle tense when Kraftwerk dropped out of the game, and Bwheatley took over for him. The allies tried to convince him to join them, while the Germans reminded him of who was sitting at his border, ready to attack. Together Germany and Soviet Union came up with a plan, to backstab the Allies, and gain much of the Middle East... of course before that could happen the Soviets had to move their entire army from the German border, ... something that was alittle too easy for Germany to monitor, as we were playing with Allies share recon. (That´s been turned off for the Axis and Comintern powers in the newest version)...

But thats the short story....
