Nice sentiments cited above. At 44, I feel some of what you've described. It helps me to look at the positives that I *do* have: two lovely children, a loving marriage, nice home, stable and interesting job and so forth. I'm a different man than I was 20 years ago, to be sure. Marginally less physically able (I could have got my black belt 15 years ago, but took a hiatus), but smarter, wiser and more comfortable in my own skin. I'm wise enough to know what to worry about and what to ignore. But I have noticed that time in general seems to go faster and faster. According to my elders, this won't change. Better enjoy the ride, mate.
