Status: offline 		This recently happened. I had no problems before. Are there current issues with the server?

Status: online 		Ok i just logged in with your account using v1.01 (do you use v1.00b or higher? and not v1.00) and did not get any bug logging in, or refreshing.

Do you still get the bug?

And if so...

Could you please tell me which exact sequence of button presses leads to it and send me the actual bug message text. If you get a popup with a details (or similar heading) button, please click it and copy and paste the full bug text. (like done here: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2895129)

Sorry for the hassle, but it would be tremendously appreciated if you get back to me on this.

Status: offline 		Ok, heres a pic. Its in norwegian but basically just says the game stopped working.

Ive tried all versions. With or without patch all the same.

Reinstalled two times on separate hardrives. Done virus and malware scans. Checked firewall settings.

Its very odd.

I compiled a special version 1.01c for you that adds some extra info to the server log file. Please try it again and get me the serverlog again by sending it to vic@xs4all.nl (please dont post it here as it contains sort of sensitive personal information of yours)

I am PM-ing you your download link.

If you have access to another computer it would be interesting to know if the same happens to you there. but lets focus on getting me the serverlog generated with v1.01c first.

Status: offline 		Sent the log to your mail address. The thing I don't understand is when I delete and then reinstall the game, shouldnt that resolve any corruption there might be with the files? Are there any invisible leftover files of any install?

Very grateful for the help. Noted for the future for sure.

I would still be interested in seeing the serverlog. and yes i did make a code change or two adding an failsafe and some threading security. as for why your pc behaves different from others...

Status: online 		And thanks to schmoly for sticking with me and helping pinpoint the problem.

The issue he experienced might actually hurt quite some more players as well and i am closing hopefully all other holes like it in the pbem++ functionality as we speak.

A work around for users experiencing this problem would i think be to set your culture/locale to english (us). (in windows 7 -> congifuration -> CLock-language-region -> Change date,time,numberformat -> set Format to English (United States)

Hope to get the public beta updated soon.
