I recently upgraded my computer, including an SSD as my new boot drive. This also moved my prior Game drive from D: to E:, but I didn't need to reformat my Game drive so all my games are still on it. I'd like to just be able to use my current Distant Worlds installation, but I don't know what DW might need to add to the registry. Can I simply run DW from it's new location, or do I need to redownload and install it all again (I've got all the add-ons, too).

In your situation, a complete re-installation would assure no problems.

Ok, thanks for the info. I have the following files saved, can I just run them in this order? Or can I skip the RotS 1508 Update?

DistantWorlds-SetupRelease-v1060-DR.exe
DistantWorlds-ReturnoftheShakturi-SetupRelease-PL-v15.exe
DistantWorlds-ReturnoftheShakturi-Update-v1508.exe
DistantWorldsLegends-SetupRelease-v1700.exe

I noticed there is a patch for Legends, so I'll download that and install it, also.

1. Install the original Distant Worlds
2. Return of the Shakturi, and then the patch v1508
3. Install Legends-SetupRelease-v1700.exe
4. Install Legends Patch 1.7.0.16

Then go spank some Alien butt!
