I need help with something that may be obvious. I give my commanders a specific name. How do I keep my commander's name throughout a whole game, despite his tank etc being destroyed? Puzzled. Thanks.

On the Command Screen, in the upper right, is a "Settings" button. This will bring up the settings dialog where you can enter your commander name. This will be used to name your primary leader soldier. Is that what you're looking for?
