About to start a new GC game. Are there any house rules suggestions for 'gamey' tactics?

The moving of STAVKA around seems iffy perhaps?

If u decide up on limiting STAVKAs mobility. In that case i'd suggest a similar limitation on german side. German got 4 layers of HQs with for purpose of range modifier each lvl, which units arent directly attached too, count for 1 less level on russian side. If u remove STAVKAs ability to move around u in essense in most cases only have 2 layers of HQ on the russian side. Atleased close enough to matter much. Plus the fact u will have army HQ attached directly to STAKVA cuz of lack of CP room in front HQs. So now in some cases your down to 1 effective layer. German side is alrdy very far ahead, not argueing they shouldnt be, but for fairness sake I would suggest some thing in the lines of:

OKH cant leave Germany/maybe or maybe not including Polen.
Some limitation on how close to the front Army Group type HQs can be.

Personally i'd prolly not bother, but its not that i dont understand that ppl can find the gameyness with STAVKA on rails, just make sure it counts for both side IMO. This can be used by both sides. I'll still say the above suggestions favor the german side slightly, but at leased some sorta balance is introduced.

Kind regards,

Rasmus

Not using Para's to break pockets might be one to consider.

Thanks - so from the replies not a great deal to worry about with house rules, which is good.

FYI I'm using the 'fixed' STAVKA/OKH as it seems unrealistic and gets around a points system which was designed for a reason but that's just me.
