opening my pbem last turn i had a surprise at singapore:

yesterday the base administration level was 10, now it's 7, so now i have the airfield overstacked
same thing at johore baru, from 8 to 5

base administration level at singapore would be: airfield level(6) + 1 + max command radius of air hq(224 group raf at singapore has 3), so 10
there are missing the air HQ bonuses!

in the previous turn i haven't done any changes here, all air HQs are on combat operational mode and not moving

what's happened?bug?

it's 2 february 1942, there are 200 fighters between singapore and johore baru(pappy boyington overcame all japanese sweep missions!), 1500 AV(reinforcements are arriving), 320k supplies, i can realize my dream to win the battle of singapore, but this problem may causes the fall of singapore, i can beat ki-43/A6M2 only by number

java and rangoon are ok, this anomaly is only at singapore and neighbour johore baru

The AF is 6.
The HQ is not of same command (ABDA) as base (SE Asia) so only 1/2 of command radius (3) applies (1).

If it had been same command as base, then total would have been 9.

thanks, i didn't know this requirement for air HQ bonus

i've understood the reason for this changement at singapore(yesterday situation is in the attachment pic), yesterday ABDA HQ has been embarked at batavia, so i lost his bonus to airfields of DEI and Singapore
it has given base administration level 10 to singapore
i didn't imagine air HQs affect friendly bases in twice radius command(14 hexs are from batavia to singapore), sorry for this useless topic

where can i find rules about air hq bonuses? i still don't understand why ABDA HQ(9 command radius) increases by 3 the base adiministration level to singapore, and wht it doesn't affect soerabaja(yesterday like today it has 9 administration level), manual doesn't speak about twice radius distance range effects

i've found this rule, it was in "what's new"

72. Gameplay Change: Command level headquarter units now behave like an Air HQ for the purpose of determining the over-stacking limits of airfields. The effect radius of a command HQ extends out to twice the command radius, but only applies half the affect when the distance to the base is more than the command radius
