Hi guys,

i know some of you are AAR masters. I started a new one for DC Case Blue and wanted to know if there are Photoshop brushes downloadable for easier and cleaner map editing? or how are you doing the graphics on the maps?

any advice is welcome

I use the free program called GIMP. It does everything you need and also captures screenshots.

I've used Paint.net to draw descriptive arrows on maps before - I'm sure there's some such vector stuff in Photoshop (perhaps in ImageReady?) - or perhaps you need Illustrator instead. Essentially for helpful AAR images, you need to be able to show fronts, movement, situations and present your decisions in a visually clear way. Some people annotate with text on the map itself, using text boxes. I prefer to show the maps and sometimes arrowed movements, but to describe whats going on in text leading before and after the image.
