I'm ready to make the plunge. I've been playing these games since the release of WitP against the AI so I am well versed in the gameplay.
I have never played an email game of any kind, so I would like to try one of the small scenarios, #3,#4 or #5. to get comfortable with email play.
I have no preference for side played.
My long term goal is to play a campaign from the allied side.
I'm 59 yrs old and own my own business, so I've learned tp keep my commitments.
I work in the same building I live in so I have access to my computer all day long. A turn a day or more would not be difficult.

You sir are in the perfect position to neglect your business! Good luck! I would say against all practical advice, just jump into the campaign if you are familiar with the mechanics. The fellows in here will always assist.

I'm gun shy about spending hours on that first turn then screwing something up.
'Now what was that button I'm supposed to hit? End or Delete?'

We all forget something almost all of the time. I just sent out a turn and realized that I forgot to stand down an air group from bombing Truk. Now it'll do it on consecutive days. Down goes morale, up goes fatigue and here comes some ops losses.

Because the game is so long forgetting something can be done another day. Granted the first turn as the Japanese player is huge.

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

I'll do a Guad. one with you. Not at my WITP PC now so not sure in your list or not. :-) Anyway, I've been out of WITP for some time and recently picked it back up. Guess playing the Allies aginat Jap AI until 1945 burned me out. Anyway relearning a bit but ready to try Guad. either side if you are. I'll send you PM wth E-mail.
