Snap! Thankfully no injuries to the athlete or judges...

Am I supposed to read now as well?

Actually I do think it is my memory that is the fault.

First time in my life I've watched dancing horses!!

Dressage - Brilliant!

Gold and bronze for our girls with the French and German surnames, and incredibly, nothing for the German whose horse is named Damon Hill!

I have women volleyball on my TV on rather than watching horses prance. But I am sure I would have had another opinion if our best horse could have been in the competition.... I meant to say best rider.

I am already longing for the next Olympic games. No offence intended to London but the next game will be better. In fact I think there will be class difference. To bad rugby was not included in the London games. Four years is way to long to wait for Olympic rugby matches.

Just out of curiosity Orm, what makes you say Rio will be a class apart?

....and next up it's the Irish. If Katy Taylor loses this I'll eat my hat (if I had one).

You could always offer to make a dish out of your peaked cap. Not that you would need to do it. It would be a safe bet.

....which is going to be really tough, Jade Jones against the worlds no.1 - and it's going the way of the Chinese Taipei athlete.

Not possible for me to follow taekwondo at the moment. I have the option to watch women basketball or women handball. And in neither game Sweden is involved.

I see "our own" Nathalie Xenia Margareta Benedikte Prinzessin zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, didnt win any thing. I thot the olympics was held in UK. Dont royalty get a do over when they dont win in first try?

How rude!
