Things are going ok game is still in the balance. I need to keep on the offensive for as long as possible. I would like to sure up lines and then strike again. SHC is doing the basic infantry blob around Moscow. I can expect any drives to come from this area. I have space in south to give so I will put most of extra troops in this area by October.


AGN: is basically just holding. I would like to hold east of The Pelton Line until summer of 43.

Status: offline 		AGC: is reorganizing. 18th army is being moved to west of Moscow. Better defensive positions are being organized as this is shortest route to Berlin. I will have several panzer Corp set-up by mud in reserve mode. GHC pulled out of the bulge area hoping SHC moves south so they can be pocketed. Again better defensive positions for infantry. I like to hold east of the river live for a long as possible. This area is still very good for pocketing units.

Status: offline 		AGS: 2 new bridgeheads have been made. One in the old spot and a new one 20 miles wide. 4 panzer divisions have been railed down and 3 infantry Corp are ready to cross if bridgehead is held, which it should be. This will be main area for offensive operations for a while.

AGC: 18th Army having finished operations pocketing units is moved to the front just west of Moscow to start shoring/shortening up the lines and start a push east. 4th Panzer army is left in the area to heal up for a turn or 2. 3rd PG only has 4 panzer divisions, but is set-up for reserve mode reactions as soon as AGC flattens line out.

Status: offline 		AGS: 2nd PG heads south east to circle around Stalingrad from the north as there appears to be northing in the area. #1 goal is to cut the rail line. Hugh ia blobing near the main thrusta and leaving nothing between. I have been working the railhead into this area the last 3 turns and it should be more then close enough.

Mean while the bridge head held. AGS was able to expand the bridgehead and get 6 infantry divisions and 8 panzer divisions across. Another small bridgehead 30 miles to the north was made this turn.

Hopefully this with 2nd PG operation north of Stalingrad will open things up.

There is about 100 manpower pts in the area that are with in reach.

GHC has decided to halt offensive operations and go over to the defensive/counter attack side.

AGN: North has been set-up for a while. 16th Army will slowly give ground an defend between Leningrad and the lake. 9th army 9 hexs below lake then 2rd and 3nd panzer. This army gruop and all 4 armies are set up for the 100% RMA. 18th army is in reserve. Each army also has a Corp set-up in reserve under OKH. The shortest way to Berlin has 4 think fort belt which will be 6 by Dec. There is also and over lapping + Corp reserve mode set-up 62 reserve mode reactions possible, plus 18th near by.

Status: offline 		AGC 4th, 2nd and 4th pz have the area linking AGN to Tomboy.

This area is digging in more and has several exrta Corp, 18th is close enough to support if needed.

I will not be giving any ground in this area, new units are arriving and will be going to AGC. I have 1 Corp of 4th PZ in the south on rail cars.

Status: offline 		AGS is a big buldge anchored on the Don.

GHC has Rumaninas, Italtians and Huns spread out with German units mixed in. Again holding the line from Rostov to Stalingrad a much. The buldge I will give up as needed. 6 Corp of extra panzers are down here, waiting and rebuilding.

I have started construstion of a 1943 river line I would like to hold until 43/44 winter. SHC as can be seen doesnt even have any troops in the center, because there really is no reason. I have a buffer with allot of mech so I can counter attack and hold if needed.

Hughs basicly sitting and building up forses and I am digging in. Defences are basicly done and getting AP up to 450. 30 divisions in static mode once I get to 350ish I have 50 in static.

Converting air forse to more fighters and starting to bomb air bases, guards and or mech units every turn.

Art/aa/stugs units are at 90% toe lvls.

This is a random weather game and so far as about 2x as many mud turns as normal, hopefully that holds up.
Moral is great, art numbers climbing an a arm pt buffer building.

Should be an interesting 43-45.

We are so close to mud season I dont think eather side will risk getting units cut off at this point.

My #1 goal will be to find out where main thrust is and try and see if its possible to cut it off. Find the art units and bomb the crap out of them.

Basicly no fighting The last five turns. I set-up 2/3 of armies in my standard RMA and I beleive I have the SU reactions set-up even better now. Getting close to SJ lvls.

SHC tried a few attacks by Finns and were stopped cold. Most of my plane losses are recon.

The Wehrmacht is recovering quickly and moral is high. Turn 70 was mud so there will not be much for action for atleast 6 weeks.

Did not really have any other area to attack.

1. Tula north is 30+ CV defenses with 4 to 6 rows deep so not really an option.
2. The center I don't have railheads and there are zero troops, very few manpower centers. SHC just simply left it open. Nothing for me to gain so why move into it?
3. Only option was south by mid summer.

This really is standard SHC defence now I am doing same thing in my game vs Dave. Fort belt after fort belt north of Tula and just ley GHC have south. They are going to take the manpower centers anyways. So just defend rivers once its taken retreat to next river line. It makes a huge bubble in lines that SHC simply doesnt have to defend and GHC has to withdraw from at some point to defend vs SHC main thrusts near Moscow area.

SHC forses have crossed the Don, but GHC forses keep counter attacking. Hvy fort belt in place between Stalino and Rostov.

A summer 43 river line is under constuction by LW divisions.
