AGS: starts pushing north of Stalino setting up for a pocket down the road.

SHC attacked 59 times last turn (52) and won only 15 times for result of 15-34.
Three small breakthroughs were made, but easily contended this turn and should be reduced next turn as turn 54 is a clear turn.

The Pocket near Tula was reduced some and should be wiped out at the beginning of next turn. Over all SHC is attacking allot every clear turn using soaking/disruption attacks to force retreats and then push through some armor. Its annoying but not really helping SHC any, basicly historical really. Brian's tactics are very much the same as TDV’s, just TDV had a much better blizzard.

Next turn the summer begins, should get interesting quickly with all the counter attacks ect.

Pools from turn 55 so there has been hvy fighting for 3 of 4 turns.

AGN:
AGC: Shoring up the northern flank and 18th army keeps pushing to wards Moscow 10 to 20 miles per turn 3 to 4 hexes wide. The small pocket is finished off and the Oka is reached. A pocket will be closed next turn and this will free up allot of infantry so large scale operations can begin to pocket SHC units. 2 tank Corp are pocketed and the eastern side of front shored up.

AGS: a few attacks to farm morale, but basically quite for now.

SHC forces have been attacking about 30 times per turn and only winning about 40% of the time. This coupled with GHC wins is quickly tanking SHC morale. The up side is it makes sure that GHC OOB is going down more then normal. Several rifle/cav and tanks Corp have been reconned. I am guessing SHC is already low on AP and once the AP crunch starts it will not be long before GHC hits 260 VP’s

Status: offline 		AGS: Panzer units open a 40 mile wide hole in the SHC lines near Kursk and 20 panzer divisions rush through the opening pocketing 15 enemy units. This also exposes the Stalino area to encirclement unless SHC pull back. AGS also has the option or turning north .

SHC launchs a massive counter attack cutting off 7 panzer divisions, but GHC changes direction and pockets 8 Corp and another 11 divisions.

Its not a good idea for SHC to launch offensives near the panzer ball. I generally keep 4 to 6 units in reserve refitting.

Brian is a fighter and counter attacks every turn. SHC losses are very heavey but so far he has managed to hang onto his major manpower centers.

Status: offline 		Yes these corp went out with a gusto.

Besides curring off 7 panzers also i think 5 inf div.

I called it the 'Battle of the Sveboda Bend'

The south part of the bend i was able to link with already cutoff troops by pushing 1 ger mech out of the way and high mp tank into open spot.

The northen part i used all reserves to break thru west of Verozah. It felt real nice. But Pelton did great job in redirecting his southern attack to actually break thru the norhern part of the bend which i had packed in 3 or 4 hexes deep.

Patton would have been pround.

Stalin smiled one week and then...

shot a few generals the next.

The carnage has not stopped. Although his attack on Moscow has stalled at the moement.

Status: offline 		Brian is allot like TDV, he just lost to many guys at start.

I think if he would have delayed some at start I would be in trouble allready.

TDV did same thing first time I played him, I probably would have won if we kept going ( Flaviusx said I was nuts for ggiving a draw) but we both wanted to restart under the next patch.

TDV smoked me the next game.

So needless to say Brian's next game I am betting will be allot better.

True seems to be allot of that going on lately.

He was 5-0 before this and had no problem holding Leningrad/Moscow/Stalino and started driving west in summer of 1942.

So he is all attack all the time very much TDV ish.

Easy to start grinding down GHC in 1942 if your opponent is not that good.

Fighting forward really does work most games as SHC.
