How do I split fleets? and other questions

Hello

How do I remove ships from fleets? In a more comfortable way then trying to select them one by one and then select remove from fleet. For example I want to remove all escorts from my fleet but it's rather tedious to look for them one by one.

Also I have a huge fleet of 80 ships stuck at the dock and they are unable to move anywhere. How do I make them unstuck?

go to the ship management screen, short the ships by class, hold the conrtol ky and click each ship you wish to remove, when they are all highlighted, click fleet to none.

Check the ships in the fleet to see if any of them are in need of replair, set to retofit, or out of fuel. If so that means you don't have the resources at that location to complete the task.

Similar to what Dracus recommends, I like to sort them by fleet and then ctrl-click the ones I want to remove from the fleet.
