Windows 7 Loosing files?

I was working on some aircraft art files I had. I had them open and my computer suddenly went off due to a powersurge. I rebooted and suddenly a couple of the files weren't there any longer. Maybe I'm going crazy and I didn't save them where I thought I did but has anyone ever had this happen to them? Unless I'm mistaken the files have completely dissappeared from my machine. I'm 100% sure I saved them too. THey were on my computer from yesterday. [&:]

I think you miss something . Windows 7 is too good to made this type of problems

Have you tried to RESTORE ?
