I have never been really successful at sinking subs with an airplane so I am not sure how the bay of Biscay air interdiction would work out.

A game about the naval battle for the med would be great.

Some of them were interesting conceptually. Of course, I guess we could say that about most, errrm, "paradigm shifting" (a phrase I kinda dislike because it's a cliche) weapons.

I think their light mortar was interesting, and very useful, had it been produced in greater numbers. The Japanese army desperately needed support weapons. And their torps were very solid designs (albeit, resulting in the loss of several of their CAs from hits in the torpedo mounts, so perhaps a double-edged sword).

These days, I rather wish that the JNSDF would build a CV or two, but that is a discussion for some other place.
