Both the Players Manual and Rules as Coded are in the hands of the Matrix Games graphics person, who is doing the final layouts for how those will appear as PDFs and in print.

The above must be an indication that all of Shannon's sweat and toil must be close to fruition?

Will we see MWiF this year, or am I acting like an over excited teenager???

I remember the first time the said it was going to be ready this year, that was in 1999. Do not under any circumstance think that it will be.

In 1999, Matrix said it will be ready this year?

The deal with Matrix was announced in late 2003 according to David Heath's post above so not sure where 1999 came from.

They said it would be ready last year and the year before that. The impossible task of AI for this game has delayed it so many years that I shall not mention them.

Ahhh, so it wasn't a Matrix project in 1999. Didn't think so.

MWiF grew out of the original CWiF, which was supposed to be available in around 1999. I bought a PC in 1998 in preparation for it

Cheers, Neilster

I only got rid of that PC about 3 years ago when I moved. Until then I still used it to run old software. I gave it to a guy who likes keeping old computers running and as far as I know its still going. When I bought it I specified the biggest box possible and it was huge. At the time it was really powerful and I wanted it to look the part. I called it WOPR

Cheers, Neilster

p.s. Hey! 1500 posts.

I don't think Steve ( ) would appreciate such comments, considering the huge amount of effort he has put into the project.

We must just wait...and wonder....
