Status: offline 		Why evacuate them all the way back to Germany (as many recommend) when there are a ton of safe havens in Russian cites that are closer to the front lines and fill the need of possible emergency interventions to unexpected Soviet successes. ????

Status: offline 		If you take everyone back, no one is encircled, morale is high, and your spring 1942 army is over 4 million strong, with better kit than June 1941. Every SU and leader is optimized, except those that get shot due to the inactivity ( yes, they do get shot and high command ones get dismissed by the AI).

On the other hand, the Red Army will be 8 million strong, entrenched in fort belts, with manpower centres regrown, 500 AP in the bank, leaders optimized.

8 million ants, with no Guards, in fort belts vs. 4 million high morale, highly trained - that's why they call it craps.
