I understand that you keep your TOE'S of infantry units in the blizzard 75 or so to reduce blizzard attrition. Would that also go for the armor left out in the cold ??? Now for the units being protected from the blizzard attrition, would you also keep their TOE'S at 75 to build the manpower pool or just keep them high since you want them there for the '42 offensive ???

IDOTS. ( It depends on the situation)

If you are going to leave pickets and head west to safety for a 1942 comeback, then 50% as there is no point sending in fresh frostbire victims.

If you are going to hold a line or flex line ( sometimes called linebacker or rubber band) you need to keep TOE for fighting units at 100% and make sure no Unready units are on the line, or routs will ensue.

Don't forget sending your SU's to luxury wintering with OKH, and the LW.

Disclosure - I have NEVER figured out where to get the Axis SU's where I really want them.

@Farfarer... Support Units. followint a suggestion by Gids, manage them by locking each Corps and assigning unwanted SUs to other Corps or higher HQs. Uses Admin/Move points, though, and is very "fiddly" action. Own plan is to get to a relatively even distribution to all Corps in time.

I suppose the manual helps to explain SUs, but haven't found an explanation yet.

Not clear if Construction Batts are best at higher HQs or Corps, or if holding SUs at Corps is better than Armee, etc. But I see them when they are at Corps level.
