What are the best settings for Soviet air power in 1941?
I have never used them effectively.

Crank intercept up to 300. You can take a bite out of the Luftwaffe this way. Cram as many fighters as you can on the front.

Other than that, attack planes and bombers do very little; don't sweat those settings much

IIRC, Soviet ground support is hardwired to suck in 41.

It is, but bombing may still get you an advantage in softening up the Germans before you attack, even if actual losses are very slim.

Definitely against a human.
Fighter intercept to 300.
I like bombing German units in 1941
Gives me a feeling of illusory pleasure in 1941 as they slaughter me.

Whenever my fighters intercept, they seem to never, ever, shoot down any German planes. Do others have a different experience?

Yep. In fact in my current game as the Axis, I bombed a lone Soviet airbase in August 1941 and lost 29 bombers to their 4 fighters.

Can anyone suggest effective settings for air in an AI game, either side? Have tried hi/lo % and hi/lo absolute numbers w/o noticeable effects. AI driven GS/Interdiction seems OK, though.
