Now that the eastern front has been completed...am i correct in saying that now we will swittch our attentions to the mediterrean front and western front? So next should be GC43,44,45 South...which would have battles like Sicily, Salerno, Anzio and the bulk of the Italian Campaign and including the invasion of southern France?? Then GC44 and GC45 West which of course would have Normandy, Arnhem, Cobra, Bulge, et al.? is this whats next for this outstanding game? Hope so. Looking forward to Afrika Corps as well and also an Allied Corps which would detail the Pacific Theater. Bring on the Japanese!

There will be western branches, the devs already said. But probably, I say, only after Africa Corps release.

Our plan and wishlist: Afrika Korps expansion, West DLC`s, Allied Corps... possible Pacific Corps... and complete the WW2 saga. It will depend on demand what we can achieve though.

First and next is now Afrika Korps.

Sounds good. I'm curious what the DV path will be in future DLC/expansions. The DLC generally does a good job of giving the player the feeling that they're part of the German war effort, but not the only force in the field. Their own success doesn't necessarily influence the war. I can understand that some people find that frustrating, but I think it's a nice change compared to the early PG series campaign and the stock Panzer Corps campaign.

After having participated in the original Panzer Corps beta, I was wondering what could be done to make the game truly different/unique compared to PG and similar titles. Commitment to WitE meant I didn't have the time to participate in the DLC beta's. I only recently found the time to play the DLC.

I have to say: my compliments for what has been done with the DLC. The varied objectives are a nice touch and the "feel" of the game is quite different from a smaller scale PG title like PG2. I also like that the game doesn't stick to a specific map scale but varies the scale of the map based on the scenario. And, of course: everlasting credit for artillery that can move and fire, which is revolutionary compared to early PG titles. My only minor complaint is that the AI is sometimes a bit passive in the early war scenarios where it should be attacking according to the briefing, but I know from my experience as a scenario designer/editor that it's difficult to make the AI attack in a way that's challenging to the player.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming titles.

ComradeP, there's a thread started by Rudankort (PzC main programmer) in the Slitherine forum, about the AI. Please feel free to join with your thoughts.

Also take a look at the mod section, you can see that there are some nice projects going on.
