Here's some Tracker Alerts from the latest turn. I'm stalling posting anything else to make it past our self-imposed week of OPSEC security policy.

Back from Dover DE... One sore laft calf (cramps)from walking. My fave driver came in second, and my fantasy league driver won...how cool is that?

Hmmm, my "suicide" CM - severely dam 1 AKL + sank 1 DMS... I'll take it... PLUS you havent hit my other surprises yet unless you are avoiding them?

I really thought I was going to bag a cruiser one of these turns...

You may yet. I'm avoiding that area since you've given me hints. I'm rounding up whatever DMS's I have left there to scout around and look things over. No signs of another minefield yet, but they aren't through looking around.

Beep, dash, - beep beep beep- dash -beep...

Stocky LTCDR walks into Kimmel's office "Sir, early counter intelligence moves seem to be working"...

ADM. Kimmel: "Good. Any other news?"

Stocky LTCDR: "Well sir, they havent sunk any more shipping in the Celebes..."

ADM. Kimmel: "Son, WE DON"T HAVE any more shipping left in the Celebes..."

Stocky LTCDR: "Yes sir, Very good sir!" shuffling through papers... "We also had some unconfirmed mine hit reports out near Miri"

ADM Kimmel: "Isnt that where we lost the minelayer?"

Stocky LTCDR: : "No sir, we lost that one near Kuching...," looking skyward after he sees Kimmel is reading papers on his desk...

ADM Kimmel: "Outstanding Son - We need more good news like that!" "Put out a press release we sank a couple cruisers there," looks up briefly... "whereever there is!"

I was thinking from Larry's post that I was doing it wrong... However it turns out that I really have NO alerts! Surprising me! enclosing a post of my CV shipbuilding program... No Opsec violations because I dont know IF the Allies can accelerate shipbuilding ( I don't think so )

So um.......hey, from what I understand about the way Tracker works you have to have two consequtive turns to get some Alerts because they are produced by what changes from one turn to the next ( at least that's my understanding ). From what I gather you've built your database from turn 1 and have loaded turns 7 and 12 and as a result have no consequtive turns with which to get any Alerts. Load turn 13 when you get it back from me and see if you don't get some alerts.

OK thanks - I'm just scratching my head why turn 7 and 12 are avaialable and not any of the others. I'm saving the turns in the Save file and the ops reports, combat reports are all listed by date in there...so turns should be available also?

Please chime in with opinions, knowledge, how goes it, etc.!

Allright then. But just in case this doesn't make much sense to me later, right now it seems to me, whatever I' am I,am and I'm supposed to make a record as I go down. So you guys can understand later what it's like to die. Forgive me if that sounds proud. But I think I may be the next God. It's that spooky. Or spookie.

Well here it is 21:11 on Friday 06/08/2012. I lost about 5 hours there. Weed seems a bit stronger than it used to be.

Jap-wise report on the game so far:

Um......I'm starting phase 2 where I ship some planes to the places where I've landed just troops in the past. I'm actually loading some planes and shipping them to the perimeter of the boundry so as to project force better. To ward off some of the air attacks and protect what I've gained already. Most of the easy parts are already grabbed now I gotta concentrate on the not so easy ones. The contested ones. Rabaul is getting hit almost every turn now with Allied B-17's and I need some CAP there to discourage that. And some AA units can't hurt there at Rabaul. And some planes couldn't hurt the Miri area and around Jolo. There seems to be an operational Allied field with some fighters at or near Cebu and I'm going to have to put a stop to that sooner or later. Because Davao is getting pounded via the air. Davao and Bubbledrop seem to be important hubs and I need them free of Allied interference for loading and unloading so I'm thinking I need some CAP at Bubbledrop too. I'm marching down to the SW on the PI and northward from Davao and soon the Allied aircraft won't have quite so many airfields to operate from as I grab them and convert them, fix them etc. I'm trying to expand ports and airflelds as I capture them so the supply of fuel and supply is important also, not just troops. They are all going in at the same time if possible. Grabbing them, expanding them, moving on to the next one and doing the same. The captured area is getting bigger and bigger with each passing turn. For the last two weeks now. Jim is fighting back here and there punching and jabbing looking for weaknesses and finding one every once in a while. His subs are really busy. I'm trying to keep my subs moving too. I'm keeping an eye on the economy and it's doing as well as I thought it might be doing about this time in the game. Nothiing is crashing down yet. Lots of resources to move still. Port Arthur is close and accessable so far. Hokkaido is a good source of resources too. Thanks, whoever told me about that.
