Did he allow you to breach the Dnepr defenses and do that next turn, or given the single line were you able to do that all in one?

Status: offline 		he let me to cross the dnjepr and in the next turn rush to the north with PG 1.

i can only think that my opponent's only experience so far must be against AI and that it will be ok for me when he resigns after that disaster.

i just wanted to share this because i never had such a huge pocket in all my games.

Status: offline 		hard to say from your screen shot, but I'm not sure if he should surrender--the pocket is very large but I don't see very many units in it? I've lost more units in a pocket 1/10 that size! Losing Kharkov of course is bad...

Status: offline 		i hope the same. his biggest mistake was the same one which i did in so many games:

forgetting to build a defense with more depth. haveing just one strong line of units isn't enough to stop the germans in 41. all the axis player needs is a 30 km hole in the frontline.

Status: offline 		360 k prisoners so far and there are still a lot of units in the pocket.

one thing i notice is that encirceld soviet units fight much better then the non encirceld ones.:) i had a lot of hold results when trying to wipe them out.:)

and the tanks of all panzers are totaly empty. some are down to 11 MP.:)

It seems to happen a lot but I'm thinking it has more to do with the few resources you commit to cleaning up such a pocket. I mean, your probably using hasties, without SU's, air support with single units. Chances of a bad die roll here or there having a big impact are much larger.
