I apologize if this has been asked before, but I have been noticing that during the air search phase the message lines about the sightings are often in either yellow or blue. Now it appears that the ones in blue are the fake sightings while the yellow ones are good. My question: is this supposed to be this way? And if so, why give us a visual clue as to which are the fame sightings? Is this the game's way of having your adjadent telling you "Sir, these last reports are unverified."???

Yep the blue ones are fake. They never leave a sighted TF or submarine on the map, and seem to mass where I have the most air search flying. Also the game never shows the right hex for them... If I believed the blue reports I'd have a 12-ship TF off Kyushu every other day.

I have a feeling that this works better in single player, vs. the AI, as in actually does not separate fake and real sightings. The fake sightings are still always reported before the real ones, though. Another difference I know between AI game and PBEM is that in the AI game the player is reported whenever a naval search mission cannot take off due to weather(and thats a LOT of reports every day!) - in a PBEM that is only reported for sweeps, attacks and recon.
