Have someone seen somethink like this? One of my carrier squadrons was set to naval attack. The ship didnt sunk and sadly there is no way for me to verify that it happened later. Bummer.

Afternoon Air attack on TF, near Selaroe at 78,120

Weather in hex: Overcast

Raid spotted at 10 NM, estimated altitude 13,000 feet.
Estimated time to target is 3 minutes

Japanese aircraft
D3A1 Val x 17

No Japanese losses

Allied Ships
TK Sunchaser, Bomb hits 14, heavy fires, heavy damage

Aircraft Attacking:
4 x D3A1 Val releasing from 2000'
Naval Attack: 1 x 250 kg SAP Bomb
13 x D3A1 Val releasing from 3000'
Naval Attack: 1 x 250 kg SAP Bomb

Heavy smoke from fires obscuring TK Sunchaser

The damage looks fatal to any TK, moreso if it was laden with fuel or oil.

The fact that you didn't *see* the ship sink and it didn't show up on the 'ships sunk' list is likely FOW.

That ship is dead. D-E-A-D!

You will very seldon see ships sinking during the action itself. They still sink though.

I am thinking if one turns up the sound on the animated combat reply this next turn the sounds of a ship doing the turtle and gurgling might be heard right after the night naval movement phase
